Welcome to ABI Committees

ABI has 25 active committees (listed in the grey area to the right) that focus on specific projects and issues important to all areas of bankruptcy. Committee members convene at ABI's two national conferences and throughout the year. Committee members are actively involved in planning educational programs for ABI's popular conferences, authoring committee e-newsletters on relevant topics and talking about sharing ideas and information on the popular ABI-hosted listserves. Many committees have produced valuable publications on a variety of topics such as consumer bankruptcy, preferences, creditors' committees and first-day motions. These are available through ABI's book store. There is no charge for committee participation.

This area of the web site offers ABI members access to past minutes of committee meetings, e-newsletters produced by each committee, the opportunity to sign up for a committee and its listserve and online educational materials that were presented at past ABI conferences.
